Futures Trading – Trading Futures For A Daily Income

Futures trading, especially those trading the emini contracts, have become quite popular as it has allowed the average everyday person to become a trader.  As a matter of fact, many people go on to become full time day traders from the comfort of their own homes.  By learning how to trade futures in a proper manner you really can teach yourself a skill set that will ultimately allow you to live a better life financially.  On this website I am going to be turning my focus to why I turned to trading the futures, in particularly the emini S&P 500 (ES).

What Market Do I Trade And Why?

My primary focus is trading the Emini S&P 500 (ES) because it is a very liquid market with plenty of volume to have trades executed.  The ES trades at $12.50 increments per tick and there are four ticks to a point in the ES market.  In addition to the market being very liquid you have the benefits of being able to trade from home as well because it is an electronically traded market.  The potential to make a great income from daily trading is there for those willing to learn proper trading methods.

A Warning to New Traders

A small benefit to an extent is there are plenty of courses out there that will teach you how to trade the ES market.  However, the negative to this is the scam artists out there that are looking to take advantage of the unsuspecting individuals starting a trading career.  Unfortunately, for many of these individuals they are taken advantage of with slick marketing.  This slick marketing is promising a fortune practically overnight.  If I can provide one stern warning it would be to avoid these trading courses that promise you riches overnight because this is not the case.  Trading is a business that needs to be taken seriously and to become successful with futures trading it is important to treat it as a business.  Learning to trade is mentally difficult and it will require many hours of focused attention before you will be consistently successful at it.

Why Futures Trading?

I started off trading options back in the late 90’s as my first choice when learning trading and ultimately learned in order to make a decent income I would have to have a large amount of money in my account.  Unfortunately for me this was not possible and my dreams of being an options trader were basically crushed.  I never lost interest in trading and ended up going to other markets and systems only to be disappointed in the end.  What I ended up learning was that many of these courses that promised the world were just being sold by some slick marketers that never traded a day in their lives.  However, this did not distract me from finding a method that would work for me.

My main goal behind this website is to help traders who are in the position I was in and thinking there was no hope to becoming a day trader from the comfort of my home.  My plans for this site are to provide users with honest reviews of futures trading products, provide them with how the particular method is performing for me and also to provide them with new related items around the area of futures day trading.

I know what it is like to struggle in order to find a trading method that delivers on what they promise.  Unfortunately for many these trading methods are just being sold by slick marketers that in fact have no clue how to even trade.  They are making their money by selling you a trading system that in theory does not work.  It is basically all smoke and mirrors and once they have your hard earned money they are not interested in aiding you in any way.
